Pokemon Champions Battle Pass

Pokemon Champions Season 1 Battle Pass

The Battle Pass in Pokemon Champions is one of the main ways you earn rewards just by playing the game. Whether you're going free or paying for the premium version, there's always something to work toward every season.

What Is the Pokemon Champions Battle Pass?

The Battle Pass is a seasonal rewards system. As you play battles, you earn Season Points (SP), and those points unlock rewards at different milestones. You don't have to win every match either. SP is awarded based on both wins and losses, depending on how well the match went overall.

Each season runs for a limited time. When it ends, the Battle Pass resets and a brand new set of rewards becomes available.

How to Earn Season Points (SP)

The main way to earn SP is through Ranked Battles, but other battle modes count, too. This system is also approachable, especially if you are still learning the game, because you're earning progress just by playing, not just by winning.

There's no shortcut to earning SP faster other than playing more matches. The more you battle, the faster you move through the rewards track.

Pokemon Champions Free vs Premium Battle Pass

This is where you need to decide how much you want to invest. Here's a simple breakdown of what each option actually gives you:

OptionCostWhat You Get
Free Battle PassFreeBase rewards including Pokemon and in-game currency
Premium Battle PassPaidExtra rewards per milestone, exclusive outfits, Mega Stones, and more

Certain Premium rewards like Mega Stones can also be purchased from the Shop using Victory Points (VP). That means free-to-play players aren't completely locked out of premium content. If you grind enough VP through regular play, you can still pick up some of those items without paying for the Premium Pass.

Pokemon Champions Season 1 Battle Pass Rewards

Season M-1 is the first Battle Pass season in Pokemon Champions. It runs from April 8th until May 13th, 2026. Each rank in the battle pass requires 100 Season Points (SP) to unlock. Rewards marked as Premium are only available if you purchase the Premium Battle Pass. Everything else is free.

Ranks 31 to 50 each give 500 Victory Points. The rewards are split between the free and premium tracks. Every odd rank (like 31, 33, 35, ...) is part of the free track. Every even rank (like 32, 34, 36, ...) is part of the premium track. If you reach the end of the pass, you can earn a solid amount of VP.

Should You Buy the Premium Battle Pass?

It depends on how far you are in the game. If you have been playing for a while and enjoy the season grind, the Premium Battle Pass can be worth it because you get more rewards. If you are new to the game, it is better to play first and grind for SP. This helps you see how fast you move through the pass before spending money. You can check out our Beginner's Guide so that you know how to progress faster in the game.

The key thing is that you never lose your SP progress. Even if you upgrade to Premium mid-season, you unlock all the premium rewards for milestones you've already passed. So there's no penalty for waiting.

Recruit, train your Pokemon, and play Ranked Battles as much as you can since that's the fastest way to earn SP. If you're free-to-play, save your Victory Points for Mega Stones and other premium items available in the Shop. The Pokemon Champions Battle Pass is built around regular play, so the more consistent you are, the more you'll get out of it each season!
